Man Attacks Girlfriend With Pool Cue, Stamford Police Say

Angered by his girlfriend's reasonable request that he turn the music down at 4 a.m. Sunday, a Stamford man grabbed a broken pool cue and hit her on the arm, police said. Uriel Ramirez, 32, of 120 Henry St., was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace in the incident.
