Police: Cross-Dressing Man Charged In Stamford Mugging

A cross-dressing man in a blond wig beat a man and stole his wallet and then bit a Good Samaritan who came to the victim's rescue late Thursday, Stamford police said. Tyrone Elliot, 40, of 597 Pacific St., was charged with one count each of third-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia.
