Former Stamford cab dispatcher arrested for taxi office robbery

A former cab dispatcher identified by police as a person of interest in an early morning pistol whipping and robbery of an Eveready Cab dispatcher in their company office 14 months ago, was arrested Thursday on armed robbery charges. Christos Mazarakos, 35, of 81 Rippowam Road, was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault and third-degree larceny and is being held in lieu of a $50,000 court appearance bond.
