Stamford Man Held in Halloween Machete Attack

A city man has been arrested by Stamford Police on charges he used a machete to assault and then rob a Stamford man, leaving the victim stripped of his clothes and about $500 on Halloween morning. Esdras Celada, 25, of Stamford, who police said is member of a Central American gang, has been charged with second-degree robbery, third-degree assault and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to WTNH.
