Albert A. Haviland, 91, Of Stamford, Retired City Fire Marshal

Haviland was born Jan. 9, 1922, in Stamford, to Harold H. and Freda Haviland. He was a 1940 graduate of Stamford High School and a World War II U.S. Army Veteran serving with the 192d Field Artillery, 43d Infantry Division.
