Hearst names Haitz Conn. group publisher

Haitz, 49, will have responsibility for the operating performance across Hearst's network of media companies in the state, which now include four dailies -- Connecticut Post in Bridgeport, The News-Times in Danbury, The Advocate in Stamford and Greenwich Time -- and seven weekly newspapers in Fairfield County.
