Fortt, a transfer from Penn State who played just one season for the Bears, becomes the third junior off a one-victory Cal team to declare his intentions to turn pro. A 6-foot-2, 240-pound native of Stamford, Conn., Fortt tied for third on the Bears with 64 tackles this season.
