Electricity competition grows: MXenergy now offering lowest rate for PPL customers

As the battle among electricity suppliers heats up, a Stamford, Conn.-based energy company emerged Thursday as offering the lowest rates for PPL Electric Utilities customers looking to switch after state-imposed rate caps expire next year.
