Top lawmakers lament lack of better transit

March 20--STAMFORD -- Legislative leaders disagreed Wednesday morning about whether Connecticut's economy is moving forward or backward as a result of Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's business growth strategies, but concurred that a failure to boost spending on Metrol-North Railroad's New Haven Line was taking a toll on the state.
