Connecticut police raise $800 for autistic man robbed of birthday money

Police in Stamford, Connecticut, have pitched in to help a 27-year-old autistic man who was robbed of his birthday money last week. The suspect tricked him into handing over the money, then pretended to put it back in the victim's pocket, but instead ran away with $100 cash, NBC Los Angeles reported .
