Mayor David Martin announced that the Stamford's Multicultural Council will be sponsoring two free beach events on Saturday, Oct. 18, starting at noon and 2 p.m. At noon, all children of Stamford are invited to Cummings Beach Park to participate in the Second Annual Children's Parade. Children ages 4 to 11 are invited to march in the parade, participate in a variety of hands-on activities, and enjoy a free lunch.
