Stamford Mayor David Martin will be conducting the Stamford Symphony Orchestra's first selection, "The Star-Spangled Banner," at this weekend's season opening concerts at the Palace Theater. The first concert is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 8:00 p.m., and the second concert will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. The Stamford Symphony is one of Stamford's many treasures.
