Stamford community briefs

Ferguson Library 's main branch will be offering a special 30th anniversary screening of Michael Radford 's "1984" from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, at corner of Broad and Bedford Streets. The film is an adaptation of the George Orwell dystopian novel.
