Cops: Four caught in Tilley Park pot bust

Three young adults and a 16-year-old face a variety of marijuana offenses after police said they were spotted openly smoking pot in Tilley Pond Park last week. The incident took place about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 23 when an officer, dispatched to investigate a report of marijuana smokers in the park, encountered a small group where Joseph Allende, 19, of Ursula Place in Stamford, and the 16-year-old -- who was not identified because of his age -- had put rolling papers on a park table and were fashioning joints with suspected marijuana, according to the report.
