Police: Felon tests cops with gun in Stamford

Michael T. Walsh, 37, of Evergreen Terrace in Bridgeport, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm Jan. 22, 2015 after allegedly engaging police in a standoff in the Cove section of Stamford, Conn. STAMFORD -- Stamford police say a Bridgeport felon may have been trying to commit suicide by cop Thursday night after being surprised by police in a Cove neighborhood parking lot while in possession of a loaded semiautomatic pistol.
