Stamford Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the two men who ripped the purse from a woman as she walked towards the Stamford Town Center mall on Monday. Police say the suspects accosted the victim who was walking alone on Gay Street towards the mall about 11:19 a.m. Jan. 19. One suspect grabbed the woman's purse from behind and a struggle ensued before the men were able to pull the purse away from the victim.
