Woman Robbed Of Purse In Noontime Attack In Stamford

STAMFORD, Conn., -- A 25-year-old woman fought desperately to keep her purse but an attacker yanked it away from her in a daylight robbery in downtown Stamford on Monday, police said. The attack occurred just before noon in the area of Gay and Broad streets.
