Westover Students, Teachers Promote Literacy At Reading Buddies Event

Students and reading teachers at Westover Magnet School in Stamford are participating in a week to motivate reading for enjoyment and to raise funds for enrichment through its Reading Buddies event. The event will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, from 9:20 to 10:05 a.m. and 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. Westover's second annual Read-a-Thon is designed to engage 100 percent of students and reading teachers, with an emphasis on the enjoyment and importance of reading.
