Stamford's AmeriCares Donates Medicine To Heart Patients

The medications, valued at $3.5 million, are headed to free clinics and other safety net providers nationwide participating in AmeriCares' U.S. Medical Assistance Program. The donation includes enough medication to provide one month of treatment for patients suffering from hypertension and high cholesterol.
