Stamford community briefs

The Ballet School of Stamford will present the 17th annual "Chefs on Pointe" food, wine tasting and auction event from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Old Town Hall, 175 Atlantic St. The event will benefit the school's scholarship fund and outreach program "Dance for All." Participating Stamford restaurants are to include Tawa Indian Cusine, Cotto Bar Restaurant and Gastro Bar.
