A Stamford nursing home reportedly is one of seven facilities fined by the state Department of Health for violations that included an aide punching a resident. Regency Heights of Stamford was fined $1,370 for several incidents, that also included a resident falling from a sling as they were moved from a bed to a wheelchair, suffering a head injury that required three days of hospitalization, according to a Connecticut Health I-Team report.
