Stamford Police: Van Driver Hits Skateboarder, Flees Scene With Passenger

A drunken driver drove a van into a skateboarder and fled the scene with his passenger Monday night, police said. The driver, Ramon Martinez-Urbina, was arrested, as was his passenger, Alejandro Estrada; the 17-year-old skateboarder, who police did not name, was in critical condition at Stamford Hospital, they said.
