Crack-binge robberies draw prison sentence

A South End man who capped off a 10-day crack cocaine binge with back-to-back robberies at the Fairway Market complex in February was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison. Gregory Curtner, 49, of Woodland Place, was sentenced by Judge Richard Comerford at Superior Court in Stamford after pleading guilty earlier to two counts of second-degree robbery.
