A Westport man who works in finance in Stamford has pledged an additional $5 million to transform the soccer complex and build a brand new state-of-the-art soccer stadium on the Storrs campus of the University of Connecticut. Tony Rizza, a former UConn men's soccer student-athlete and a member of the Class of 1987, has now pledged a total of $8 million, UConn announced on its website.
