During a DWI checkpoint at the intersection of South State Street and Atlantic Street in Stamford on Saturday, March 2, Robert Tillman , 30, of 35 Lawton Ave., Stamford, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated after an officer detected an alcoholic odor coming from Tillman's vehicle, according to the report.
