Peterson is survived by daughter, Jeanette Peterson Wright of Stamford; sisters, Pearl Richards of Texas and Roma Marshall of Trinidad; brothers, Percy Phillips, Sedrick Young and Frank Young, all of Trinidad; and four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
