Stamford strikes deal for green building improvements

Tackling the issue of Connecticut's notably high energy costs, Stamford entered into a new phase of energy efficiency Tuesday with the announcement of a partnership between the city, the Business Council of Fairfield County and the Clean Energy Finance Investment Authority to provide $20 million in financing for green building improvements.
