Stamford Cops Find Man Passed Out In Car With Engine Running

A man was found passed out in his 2012 Audi A4 with his foot on the brake in the middle of a Stamford intersection early Sunday, blocking traffic, police said. Arthur Battle, 34, of 23 Red Rock Terrace, Hamden, was charged with driving under the influence and carrying a firearm while under the influence after officers found a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun in his glove compartment, police said.
