New AutoZone in Stamford to create up to a dozen jobs

Car repair do-it-yourselfers on the west side of Stamford will soon have another place to shop for parts with the opening of an AutoZone store on West Main Street. The store, which is under construction, is scheduled to open Oct. 29 at 467 W. Main St., joining another Stamford AutoZone at 799 E. Main St., according to company spokesman Ray Pohlman .
