Jury selection begins in Stamford date rape case

Jury selection began Thursday for a man who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman when she accompanied him to his Stamford apartment after a night of dinner and drinks in May 2013. Defendant Nicoli Ariel Quijano , 22, of Nelson Street, is facing a second-degree assault charge for allegedly having sex with the woman while she was physically helpless.
