Christie stumps for Foley as RGA invests in race

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie , the chairman of the Republican Governors Association , is returning to Connecticut to campaign for GOP gubernatorial candidate Tom Foley as his organization invests heavily in the hotly contested race. Christie, a frequent political sparring partner of Democratic Gov. Dannel P. Malloy , was scheduled Tuesday to make a campaign stop with Foley in Stamford and appear at a fundraising event for the Connecticut Republican Party .
