City Closes on Purchase of Site of Former Sacred Heart Academy for $9.75 Million

The 10.8-acre site of the former Sacred Heart Academy at 200 Strawberry Hill Ave. was expected to change hands from the Sisters of St. Joseph to the City of Stamford early Thursday afternoon for $9.75 million. The City of Stamford [was] expected to close on the purchase of 200 Strawberry Hill Ave. Thursday and assume ownership of the campus, completing a nearly yearlong process to acquire the property.
