Three people escaped with their lives after a post- midnight fire raced through their North Stamford home at 25 Bittersweet Lane, totally destroying the three-story structure. Desmond Hague has resigned as CEO of Stamford-based Centerplate amid allegations of animal abuse after he was spotted kicking and mistreating a 1-year-old dog in a Canadian hotel elevator in a surveillance video.
