Beaverton gets 1-gig Internet: Is your house covered?

Residents of certain Beaverton neighborhoods can now sign up for 1-gigabit Internet speeds from Frontier Communications, the company said Monday. Back in July Frontier President and Chief Operating Officer Daniel McCarthy said the Stamford, Connecticut-based telecommunications company would roll out this super-fast Internet service in the Portland suburbs at some point this year.
