A 53-year-old Florida man will spend 10 years in prison after stalking an ex-girlfriend who lives in Stamford and planting bombs filled with hydrochloric acid in her car, federal prosecutors said. Prosecutors said Frank Mendoza, formerly of Jacksonville, Florida, began dating the victim in 2008 and "became emotionally and psychologically abusive" toward her.
