Grant Thornton opens Stamford office

A venerable national tax, audit and advisory firm has marked its 90th year in business with the establishment of an office in Stamford. Founded in Chicago in 1924, Grant Thornton has located its newest operation in a 6,300-square-foot space at 300 First Stamford Place, a three-building, 784,160-square-foot office complex within walking distance of the Stamford Transportation Center and a short distance from exit 7 off Interstate 95. This week, nearly 50 Grant Thornton employees began work in the new Stamford office.
