U.S. Rep. Jim Himes will address the Rotary Club of Stamford at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Stamford Sheraton, 700 Main St. The Ferguson Library will host a special film event-a screening of "From the Rough" 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at the corner of Bedford and Broad Streets. The film is based on the true story of Coach Catana Starks , the first African-American woman ever to coach the Tennessee State golf team.
