First Niagara to shutter five Fairfield County branches

First Niagara Financial Group has said it will close 17 branches across its four-state footprint, including five in Fairfield County, effective January. The branches in the county include 1117 High Ridge Road, Stamford; 30 Danbury Road, Wilton; 155 Main St., Monroe; 2500 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield; and 108 Danbury Road, Ridgefield.
