Man gets 55 years in jail for Alcantara death

The second and last defendant in Stamford's 2009 robbery-murder of Denny Alcantara on Stillwater Avenue was sentenced to 55 years in jail Tuesday. Telling White, who presided over his trial and that of his co-defendant Tyrone Tarver, that he meant no disrespect to the judge, Bonds insisted he did not get a fair trial.
