UBS Hires Broker For 'Iconic' Stamford Office Tower

The latest in a long trail of hints that its time in Stamford might be limited, Swiss banking giant UBS has hired a brokerage consultant to determine interest in its 725,000-square-foot office buildings in the city. The financial services company has spent the past few years reducing its investment banking head count after taking serious hits in the collapse of Wall Street and paying out major settlements to regulators.
