Courtney Byrnes, 29, Stamford Native, Radiology Tech Student

Courtney Anne Byrnes, 29, a former resident of Stamford, died Sunday, Jan. 25, at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, N.J., after a courageous eight-year battle against cancer. Byrnes was born and grew up in Stamford, and graduated from King School in 2003.
