Life of pelicans takes flight in new film

Filmmaker Judy Irving films a scene wtih Gigi, a brown pelican picked up from San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in 2008. Gigi, and other pelicans, became the focus of Irving's 2014 film "Pelican Dreams," which will be shown on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at the Avon Theatre in Stamford, Conn.
