Stamford police look for new HQ

Two weeks after city workers pasted signs around the police department warning of the danger of asbestos in the 59-year-old building, the city has put a call out to landowners looking for another building to relocate the department. The request was made in order to get the widest possible range of choices to relocate the police department, said Mayor David Martin 's Chief of Staff Michael Pollard .
