Schools Superintendent Winifred Hamilton announced Thursday that onetime Stamford High Principal Tony Pavia will return Feb. 23 to lead the school until June. Pavia, known for his successful stewardship of Stamford High from 1996 to 2002, will replace veteran administrator Rodney Bass , who has overseen daily operation since Principal Donna Valentine was arrested in October in connection with a teacher-student sex scandal.
