A Stamford man pleaded guilty to trying to injure a police officer with his car last summer and could receive as much as three years in jail when he returns to court for sentencing in April. Sasan Maramkhah, 27, appeared at state Superior Court in Stamford Tuesday with his public defender Mark Welch and pleaded guilty to a single felony count of attempted first-degree assault.
