Brejtfus-Giancola worked as a registered nurse at the former Homestead Health Center Nursing Home in Stamford. She also worked for the Stamford Board of Health, where she was a public, private and parochial school nurse, oriented school nurses, and helped in community-based health programs for 24 years.
