Julie Jason , The Advocate's financial columnist, will speak at the Senior Men's Association of Stamford at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Congregation Agudath Sholom, 301 Strawberry Hill Ave. Jason will discuss family wealth transfers and investment planning. Connecticut Senate Majority Leader Bob Duff and state Sen. Carlo Leone will announce pending legislation to assist military retirees with the state income tax at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Darien VFW Post 6933, 205 Noroton Ave. Coffee and light refreshments will be available at 9:30.
