Stamford residents prioritize schools, cops, access

Education funding, city compliance with the American with Disabilities Act and police walking patrols were the topics of the evening at a public hearing on the mayor's proposed $530.8 million budget. Nineteen Stamford residents took turns at the Westhill High School lectern Tuesday evening, addressing members of the Board of Finance and the fiscal committee of the Board of Representatives .
