Police are investigating the stabbing death of a 52-year old man in the downtown area Wednesday evening, the city's first homicide of 2015. Police said that Stamford EMS personnel were responding to an unrelated incident at the corner of Broad and Bedford streets at approximately 8:15 p.m. when they saw a man collapse on the street.
