Treehouse Shakers set for Stamford Palace performance

The New York City theater troupe Treehouse Shakers made its Stamford debut at the Palace Theatre on March 8 with "Hatched" and will be be returning on March 29. Mara McEwin, the co-founder of the New York City theater troupe Treehouse Shakers, will be telling some "Magical Stories" when the company returns to Stamford's Palace Theatre on March 29. In an age of limitless entertainment available at home on numerous devices, children's theater artists are still managing to hook young audiences in live performances with almost no technology involved. Mara McEwin , co-founder of the Treehouse Shakers company, thinks one of the secrets of good children's theater is to treat kids like any other audience.
